As we wrap up 2025, we’re proud to share something meaningful — Scentsess has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with KT Academy, an award-winning social enterprise and one of Malaysia’s leading holistic healing networks.
This isn’t just another collaboration announcement. For us, it represents alignment in values, direction, and long-term vision for the healing and wellness industry in Malaysia.
The signing ceremony was attended by Ms.Laney Yip, Founder of Scentsess, and Mr.Ahmad Zaim, Founder of KT Academy. Having both founders present made the moment even more significant, and it reflects the trust, clarity, and shared intention behind this partnership.
A Shared Vision for the Healing Industry
KT Academy has built a strong name within Malaysia’s holistic wellness ecosystem.
Over the years, it has grown into a respected healing network that connects practitioners, educators, and communities across the country.
But what stands out most is its commitment to impact. Beyond training and professional development, KT Academy is working on initiatives designed to make healing more accessible — especially for lower-income communities. Among its upcoming developments are a structured healing module and an innovative healing device that aims to combine multiple healing functions into one system.
The focus is not only growth but also accessibility, inclusion, and long-term sustainability within the Bumiputera wellness market.

Scentsess’ Role in This Collaboration
As part of this partnership, Scentsess has been entrusted to develop an exclusive aromatherapy essential oil formulation that will be integrated into KT Academy’s upcoming healing device.
What makes this formulation particularly meaningful is that 40% of the blend is made using locally sourced Malaysian essential oils.
For us, that matters. Malaysia has incredible botanical resources, and we believe in supporting local producers while maintaining global aromatherapy standards. This blend reflects both — local strength and international quality.
It’s a small but important step toward elevating Malaysian essential oils within the broader wellness industry.
Innovation Meets Intention
The healing device currently under development will integrate four unique healing functions into a single system. While full details will be shared closer to launch, the intention is clear: to create something practical, accessible, and impactful.
Our exclusive essential oil blend will play a core role in enhancing the sensory and therapeutic experience within that system.
